The Enterprise Portfolio Management Council (EPMC) is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to support and accelerate the development of Enterprise Portfolio Management processes, tools, and techniques for the betterment of shareholder value. Portfolio management, though still in its early stages of maturity, can help corporations gain a competitive advantage by improving efficiencies, lowering costs, and increasing the return on internal investments.
